The Subtle Word of the Spirit

Sometimes the Word of the Spirit is very subtle, like a gentle breeze passing by us. In order to catch the message upon this breeze we also need to become more subtle in our energetic understanding. If there is something piquing our spirit then we need to follow it and allow the fullness of the message to be revealed. At first glance or feeling it may be easy to pass over it, or think it is our imagination, but no, it is the Spirit saying, "Come follow me, I have something to show you." Are we willing to follow or are we too busy and involved in the density of our lives?
At other times, the Mother Spirit speaks in all Her fierceness, demanding that we listen. One such example, the recent oil spill. Clearly a tragedy for many beings, and yet how timely that this occurs just before more wells are to be drilled. A terrible outcome on one hand, and yet, perhaps through a severe mercy it is stopping even worse outcomes in the future by making people pay attention now.
Hairdressers are sending hair to soak up the oil, fishermen and navy recruits are erecting blockades, engineers are drawing on their creative abilities to help stop the flow, people are in sacred prayer. There is a beautiful influx of connectivity being entered into. Let us use the emotion that stirs deep inside us to pray for a greater awareness on our earth, or, take steps to join the clean-up, as our desire calls us.
In the Gospel of Thomas there is a saying, "become passers-by." One meaning of this is that we are to pass by the so-called wisdom and expectations of the world, and enter deeply into the call of our spiritual desire. This is the voice that we are to become attuned to, to dwell in, and to meditate upon. In this way, we will recognize Her when she walks tenderly in the garden of our soul.

The Willingness of Spirit
If you look closely at the small photo opposite you will see one pink tulip amongst all the red ones. Sometimes life is like this, we walk amongst people all doing the same thing (even spiritually-minded people), and then the call of the Spirit comes to say or do something different, to speak out, to change your behavior. Are you willing to be a pink being amongst so many red beings?

Spiritual Direction
These are individual sessions by phone that occur once a month for one hour. During these sessions we begin with an opening meditation and prayer. We then "move" together in the Spirit and see where the Spirit wants to lead you in your life.
This is a committment to the indwelling of your sacred self. Megan holds you and also commits to your journey as spiritual companion and witness, facilitating the growth of your being and soul.
