The Possibility of Our Destiny
“Blessings will be on those who have spoken out and
acquired grace for themselves.”

We often think of destiny as a predetermined place in our life that we need to arrive at, or a goal that we are destined to achieve. However, I would invite you to reconsider this narrow view to encompass the greater vista of possibility. The quote above is a key in opening to this. As with all spiritual teachings it seems to directly oppose what we have been taught, and that is, that grace is freely given without us doing anything. That is true. And so is the wisdom of our ability to draw blessings and grace to ourselves, and others, through our speaking out.
This speaking can be understood in a number of ways. It can be speaking out our prayers from the deepest place of our soul and heart, offering to the Divine One the richness of our whole being. It can be speaking out a truth that is inspired by the Spirit,
(as opposed to an impulsive opinion), and not caring or fearing for our reputation and repercussions. It can be a speaking out for those who are unable to speak for their own selves and maybe at risk of being abused in some way. It may even be a speaking out through our silence when that is called for. And of course, every action has a voice, and also our thought.
All of these ways help to weave our destiny as we choose how we are to live here, each choice giving grace or blessing accordingly…or not. What a different destiny we weave when we choose to remain hidden or unheard.
There is only one thing destined, and that is, we are all to return to the wisdom and knowledge of who we are in God. How long and how many lifetimes that takes is indeed a mystery.
Willingness is the doorway into this journey, without this, we can remain bound.
In this wonderful New Year we are being helped exponentially with great influxes of energy. May we fully utilize this energy so our true destiny can be reached.
In the meantime enjoy the path you are on, enjoy everything that comes across your path. Herein lies the great secret to unfolding your enlightened being.
