JOINING THE LIGHT AND THE DARK
A disciple of Mary Magdalene spoke:
“In you the light and darkness are joined, and there is perfect being, perfect intelligence, and perfect delight.
Truly you are the Daughter of the Great Mother!”
Mary said, “What I am, so also are you.
You have beheld the Truth of the Soul of Light in you.
Remember yourselves, and you shall be as I am.”

In all of us, the light and the darkness are joined. We have for so long battled the darkness, by fighting or denying its existence. The dark has always been seen as something to fear, or at the very least to steer away from, and yet, here is Mary Magdalene saying that in the light and dark being joined we will know our perfect being, perfect intelligence, and perfect delight. We will remember who we are. This is a very large statement, and one that deserves much contemplation.
Here, I simply say, do not struggle with any personal darkness or shadow that is arising to meet you. As you, and the world, come more fully into the light, so your darkness is revealed, (as it is being so readily revealed in our world). It is asking to be taken into the light once more, to where it originated. For it too comes from the Source of life and love. It is not separate. It is time for the battle to cease. It is time to love the darkness back into unity.
Many are encountering old fears at this time, fears that were thought already dealt with, yet new and deeper levels are arising. Take a sacred breath and call on The Magdalene to help you, She is a wondrous healer and truly a Daughter of the Great Mother, just as you are the Daughter and the Son! So too the Great Mother, in all her forms, is there to help. Kuan Yin, The Black Madonna, Green Tara - all of them shine through the dark with their radiance. May your radiance shine also in all its glory.
