What you hold, may you hold,
what you do, may you do and not stop.
But with swift pace, light step, unswerving feet,
so that even your steps do not stir up dust,
may you go forward,
securely, joyfully, and swiftly,
on the path of happiness,
believing nothing, agreeing with nothing,
that would dissuade you from this commitment
or would place a stumbling block for you on the way.
Clare of Assisi
We are living in a paradoxical world of incredible hope and increased loving vibrational frequency, along with utter darkness, destruction, and fear. Many find themselves falling into levels of fear that they have not experienced for many years. Others are roaming in an interior darkness, questioning their spiritual lives and purpose. Take heart, and read again the words of Clare of Assisi quoted above. Hold fast to your spiritual relationships and your commitment to your self and the divine, and know that any perceived stumbling block is there for you to simply walk through in faith and love. It will also increase your spiritual stamina, which you will be needing as the world continues its birthing into evolutionary harmony.
The darkness for many seems to be escalating, but that is because the light is shining so brightly. Any darkness coming forward is simply asking to be loved. Do not let your feet swerve from the path at this time, these are remarkable times of attuning yourselves to the deepest alignment of self. And may you not stir up any dust, that is, may you not resist what is happening, or cause undue pain to yourself by turning away. Have the courage to look yourself in the eye and let go of all shame, guilt, and other shades of darkness that are rising to be loved. And go forward, securely, joyfully, and swiftly, on the path of happiness.
This is our heritage, this is our birthright.
Be diligent about your spiritual practice, bringing you into deeper connection and relationship; this will help to steady and ground your being so that you are not knocked off balance when a storm arises. Be kind and gentle with yourself. Be compassionate when something arises, and seek assistance when it is needed. We are all here to help one another when we fall. And we all fall...and we all help another when they fall...it is our vulnerability that allows us to access our being of beauty, our being of humility. It is standing in our nakedness that we are seen and loved. Can you love your own naked being?
