Blessings of Love from Assisi to Everybody!
Assisi is the city of deep silence. Tourists and pilgrims are constantly filling the piazzas with their conversations, cars careen around the streets, and stores sell cheap religious statues. Yet, underneath all of this lies the beating of the hearts of Clare and Francis of Assisi, immersing you in their love for God, their love of silence, and their love for one another.
Their spiritual journeys come alive as you visit the places where they lived, prayed, and fell into love. San Damiano, the home of Clare, is filled with a sweet serenity, a simple beauty, and a deep residing purity of love. If you listen into the silence you can hear the songs she sang; to her Creator, to Francis, and to her own soul.
The tomb of Francis exudes an energy more powerful than I have encountered anywhere else on this earth. His bones, filled with the light and love of God, radiate a presence into and through your soul, which unmistakebly is the transmission of the true power of Love. A potent place of prayer.
Mt. Subasio and the woods where Francis roamed are still vibrating with an intensity and holy madness of the truly divine nature. The trees and birds caress your soul with every step you take, thrilling you with the very essence of life, and a deep joy. Mother Mary also lives in these woods, in a silently powerful outdoor chapel.
The footsteps of the saints are holy. And we are all invited to walk with them. This journey for me has been the most soulful and powerful pilgrimage I have ever undertaken. I feel deeply and divinely inspired to lead pilgrimages here in the future.
I am also working on my next book, called Sacred Companions. This work is inspired by the Love and Teachings of Clare of Assisi (I will let you know when it will be available).

We are all being called to become Bearers of the Word. Our daily living demands it, our relationships thrive on it, and our souls know that we are destined for “making great” the presence of God on our earth.
In this workshop we will gather under Mary’s mantle of love, allowing her to soothe and nourish our souls. We will learn how to move beyond our limitations of belief and non-belief; how to listen with the spirit of a quiet awe; and how to courageously come forward into the world with our strength and wisdom, entering and living from the fulfillment of self.
There will be contemplative meditations, movement, and chants. Please bring a journal.
