Who is the Judge?
"Impose no law other than that which I have witnessed. Do not add more laws to those given...lest you become bound by them." (Yeshua speaking in The Gospel of Mary)
"Whoever undertakes to set himself [or herself] up as a judge of Truth and Knowledge is shipwrecked by the laughter of the Gods." - Albert Einstein
When we judge ourselves or another we are creating or imposing a new law. We are saying this is not the right way of doing things. It should be done another way and according to the way that I dictate. Subsequently we are bound by this new law or regulation, and immediately our world becomes infinitely smaller. Our heart constricts, a wall of division is created, and we retreat into our world of right and wrong, which is ultimately a very lonely and isolating place.
The word "righteous" has been erroneously used to describe such a judgmental state of being, however, the correct interpretation of righteous is 'one who walks the way of God.' And the way of God is far more merciful and compassionate than we can ever imagine. It is we who have become the judge. We judge that certain things shouldn't occur in our life, we judge that people should look and act a certain way, we judge how we feel and act. But why? Why are we such a judging people? Where does the root of this behavior stem from?
One answer could be, because we are enslaved to the law. Somewhere in our ancestral heritage we have become bound by the many laws given in order to help right conduct of living. And yet, Yeshua came to fulfill the law, that is, he came to release us into a far greater living and loving relationship through direct experience with the divine. He came to say, 'you are free,' you are no longer bound by the many laws created to help humankind on its journey. He came to say, let the maturity of spirit rest upon you in order that you may know the divine as I know the divine, that is, through the fullness of love. There is no one to judge you.
Let this be our mantra, "There is no one to judge me," and see how the soul expands into its freedom. This freedom from judgment is what the mystics know, and which allows Hafiz to sing "there is no such thing as sin."
May you know this sinless self, free from all guilt and shame, and may you dance in your freedom.

The Struggle of St. Francis
St. Francis of Assisi struggled with his nature and too often bound himself to his own laws. Now, I believe he would live a different life and open to the greater sensuality of his being. Yet, in his own way he found a greater freedom of soul and the deep inner joy. It shows that we are all on a continual journey - even the saints, and even God! We are all helping one another into the greater vastness of our being.

The Celtic Tradition places great importance on the role of the feminine in its spirituality. This feminine quality is expressed through the Truth of Wisdom a power present in the land itself, in the Mother Goddess, and embodied in a woman. We all, both women and men, need to marry this wisdom in order for right-relationship to be had, both with ourselves and with Mother Earth.
In this workshop we will explore what this Truth of Wisdom is, and how each one of us are called to uniquely live this in our daily lives. Using the Celtic inspirations of earth, sea, and sky, and otherworldly realms of existence, we will weave our way in and through myth, poetry, ancestral wisdom, ritual, and practical Celtic spiritual practice. We will use these practices to reveal our hidden truth, honor, and sovereignty.
We will also enter into the Holy Well, that is, through guided meditation and inner journeying, we will enter into the very womb of the Mother to know the healing and unifying powers of the feminine moistness and darkness, discovering what they offer to our world and to us today.
We will write, sing, dance, and honor our ancestors, the land, and our souls.
This workshop is suitable for all persons who want to connect more deeply with the land, the nature spirits, and their feminine self, and to learn a practical path of Celtic spirituality.
Highly recommended for those joining the Ireland Pilgrimage in June 2010.
